Glovebox and hot cell electrics, Germany (Deadline: 14 December 2010)

The Institute for Transuranium Elements (ITU) intends to award a contract for carrying out electrical installation work at the ITU. Essentially this involves fitting gloveboxes, laboratories and hot cells with scientific and technical devices, and maintaining the fixed electrical installations for energy distribution and lighting in ITU buildings. These installations will be replaced, expanded, maintained and repaired, as required.

Estimated work volume: 5 500 hours per year, plus 1 500 hours per year for coordination activities.

The work will mainly be carried out in a controlled or contamination area.

Framework agreement with a single operator.

Duration of the framework agreement: 4 years.

Estimated total value of purchases for the entire duration of the framework agreement: between 1,150,000 EUR and 1,400,000 EUR.
