FFTF to be used for medical isotopes

The US Department of Energy is currently evaluating a proposal to use the Fast Flux Test Facility as a commercial production facility for medical and industrial isotopes. The evaluation comes following a 90-day review of options for the FFTF that has been ordered by the Bush administration.
