Main place of performance: Vicinity of Nuclear Licensed Sites in Scotland: Chapelcross, Dounreay, Hunterston, Torness, Rosyth and HMNB Clyde (Faslane and Couldport). Additionally a survey is also carried out along the Solway Firth.

Short description of the contract or purchase(s):

SEPA require an experienced organisation to undertake a 'Habits Survey' around each of Scotland's nuclear power plants. The aim of the survey is to determine the pathways which could result in the greatest potential radioactive doses to members of the public. The successful organisation will communicate closely with members of the public regarding eating and activity habits. The successful organisation will then collate and analyse the data, before reporting back to SEPA on agreed deadlines. The proposed contract will date from 1.4.2010 to 31.3.2013, with a possible 1 year extension. Environmental issues consultancy services. Survey conduction services. Surveying services.
