EIB plans enrichment loans to UK and Holland

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is planning to lend Urenco Limited up to €200 million to extend the nuclear fuel enrichment capacity of two plants – in Britain and the Netherlands. Two environmental impact assessments have been completed and the EIB says the projects (costing €430 million overall) should now comply with EU environment laws.
