E.ON bid rejected

Norway’s Statkraft has rejected an offer by German utility E.ON for its 35.7% stake in Swedish power group Sydkraft. However, E.ON has received enough acceptances from other shareholders to acquire a majority stake in Sydkraft (60.66% of the share capital and 65.76% of the voting rights).
