Duma ratifies Convention on Safe Management of Spent Fuel

The Russian State Duma has ratified the Joint Convention on the Safe Management of Spent Fuel and Radioactive Waste, state news agency Itar-Tass reports.

The convention was signed in Vienna in January 1999 and signatories now include Germany, Spain, the UK and the USA.
