British fuel for Paks?

Ceasing dependence on Russian fuel for the Paks VVER is of paramount importance for ensuring security of supply, according to Gyorgy Vajda, director general of the Hungarian National Bureau of Nuclear Energy. Speaking to the National Committee for Nuclear Energy, Vajda also said that the Hungarians were working with Finland, which has two Soviet designed VVERs, in negotiating for fuel to be supplied by British Nuclear Fuels.
