Jadrová a vyrad'ovacia spolocnost' a.s. (JAVYS), hereinafter referred to as "the Employer", has received a grant from The Bohunice International Decommissioning Support Fund (BIDSF), administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the project C7-A2 "Increasing of existing fragmentation and decontamination facilities".
The Employer now invites sealed tenders from contractors for the following contract to be funded from part of the proceeds of the Grant.
The objective of C7-A2 project is the improvement of the:
• Fragmentation line (FL):
o Provision, installation and start-up services of the band saw for large/thick-walled metallic materials,
o Provision, installation and start-up services of shears for fast fragmentation of pipes, bar material and metallic plates,
• High-capacity decontamination line (VDL):
o Provision, installation and start-up services of new ultra-sound emitters and ultra-sound generators for a rinsing bath No. 2,
o Provision of an additional titanium basket for the high-capacity decontamination line,
o Provision, installation and start-up services of a rinsing bath with high-pressure water jetting for high-capacity decontamination line,
o Provision and exchange of pumps No. 1, 2 and 5 in the high-capacity decontamination line,
o Provision, installation and start-up services of a hot-blasting barrel with automatic charging feeder,
o Provision of an accumulator high-lift truck.
The Contractor's scope of work shall include the design, engineering, certification, dismantling works, procurement, delivery, construction, installation/erection, commissioning, testing, and trial operation of the systems as well as technical support for licensing processes. The Contractor's scope shall further include development of documentation and support of the Employer. The scope shall also include the provision of adequate training to the Employer personnel and the provision of support for corrective maintenance works during the warranty period.
The Contractor shall remove all the conventional wastes generated as consequence of the works of this contract.
The erection and installation works will be performed mainly on the site of Nuclear Power Plant VI Jaslovské Bohunice.
Procurement will be carried out in accordance with EBRD Procurement Policies and Rules with the exception of country eligibility restrictions defined within the BIDSF rules.
Tendering for contracts to be financed with the proceeds of the BIDSF grant which is administered by the Bank is open to firms from all eligible countries and as at 1 st January 2009 they are: EU member states, Switzerland, and the EBRD's Countries of Operations.
The proceeds of the grant will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Chapter of the United Nations.
