AREVA to supply uranium concentrate to US utility

AREVA announced that it has won a $70 million contract to supply of around one million pounds of uranium concentrates to an unnamed US utility.

The contract runs over "a several year period," according to AREVA, currently the second-largest uranium producer in the world, after Kazatomprom.

In 2012, AREVA achieved a record level of uranium production, with 9760 tonnes of U3O8 produced
