AECL to provide CANDU retube training for Argentina

Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Nucleoeléctrica Argentina (NASA) to provide specialised training to retube Argentina’s CANDU 6 station.

Training will be carried out at the Point Lepreau station, using its refurbishment project as hands-on training for approximately 10 NASA employees. The programme will run between 2007 and 2009.
