$15 million deal for LMZ

The Leningrad Metals Plant (LMZ) in St Petersburg, part of the Silovye Mashiny organisation, will complete repairs at Kozloduy 5 and 6 in Bulgaria, in a contract worth $15 million.

LMZ won the tender in competition with Siemens, Alstom and Skoda. The company will upgrade the reactors' turbine condensers, using a special method to calculate the configuration of the turbine clusters. Work on the project will start in the first quarter of 2003.
